- "Pariba" Bitless Leather Bridle
Product Description
The Ultimate Comfort of Bitless!
Natural horsemanship and bitless riding go hand in hand. Natural Horsemanship is based on the horse’s own natural instincts & behaviors, and focuses on a pain-free, fear-free method of teaching & working with horses. Because the bit can (and often does) cause pain, it is a contradictory method of natural horsemanship. Of course not all bits are created equal, just as not all people hurt their horses with them (at least, not intentionally), but even just the presence of the bit in the mouth can affect the horse both physically and mentally.
Bitless bridles offer a refreshing new way of communicating with your horse where they are consistently more comfortable, calm, and willing to learn. The Freedom Riding Articles line of bitless bridles are extremely high quality and a refreshing alternative to the typical bitless bridles currently available on the North American market.
Features of the "Pariba" Bitless Bridle:
- Side-pull style, offering direct pressure to the nose and cheeks
- Woven leather noseband provides focused, clear & direct rein cues
- Quality craftsmanship & soft, pliable leather
- Comes with matching clip-on leather reins!
Exclusively from FREEDOM RIDING ARTICLES in the Netherlands, this bridle comes with the following options...
Color: Havana Brown & Black
Sizes: Pony, Cob, Full, or Shire ("Cob" being most suited to your average Quarter Horse or Arabian, "Full" most suited to Warmbloods or Average Draft horses)
NOTE: Shires size available in the "Pardoes" bridle style; very similar to the Pariba but with a flat noseband rather than braided leather (click on "Shire" size to view). Add $40.00 for Shire size.

Soft and supple

It was so nice to receive this and see that it was ready to go without any oiling or prep work. The mare I purchased was used to this exact bridle but the owner didn't want to part with it. I ordered it to arrive at the same time the mare did, and was thrilled to find it was ready to go from Day 1.

Very adjustable. Horses respond well.

I have used this on many horses for jumping and dressage work. They are quite responsive to it and the cob size fits a large variety of horses (very adjustable). Some horses aren't as thrilled with the rings on the side, and I do use a noseband fuzzy to make it a little more gentle on some horses. Not as "pretty" as some of the other bridles, but effective.
